The Assessment Structure

Our approach is continuous and multifaceted, ensuring a complete picture of a student's progress.

Periodical test(PT)

· Purpose: To provide ongoing feedback and monitor learning progress during the instruction process.

· Methods: Class tests, quizzes, projects, presentations, group discussions, practical activities, and classwork.

· Summative Assessment (SA):

· Purpose: To evaluate student learning at the end of an instructional unit by comparing it against a standard or benchmark.

· Methods: End-of-term written examinations.

Grading & Evaluation System"

· A detailed breakdown of the weightage for PTA and SA will be provided at the beginning of the academic year.

· The report card reflects a composite score that includes both scholastic and co-scholastic areas, emphasizing all-round development.

Guidelines for Students: Towards Academic Excellence

· Be Proactive: Regular attendance and active participation in class are fundamental.

· Revise Consistently: Develop a sustainable study schedule. Consistent revision is more effective than last-minute cramming.

· Clarify Doubts: Never hesitate to ask teachers for help when a concept is unclear.

· Examination Day Readiness:

· Carry your admit card and all necessary stationery.

· Arrive at the examination hall on time.

· Read question papers carefully and manage your time wisely during the exam.

· Uphold the highest standards of academic integrity.

Policy on Absence & Re-examination

· Students who miss a Summative Assessment due to a medical emergency or exceptional circumstance must provide a doctor's note or a formal written request from a parent/guardian.

· The school will review each case individually, and if approved, a re-examination may be scheduled.
